  1. Using the example of the library and the Dewy decimal system just gave me the AHHA moment. Keywords were always somewhat confusing in how to put them into a sentence. Then I dawned on me that I should think differently about them. When I am searching for something what do I put in there to get the best results. Makes it a little easier to understand when you use a great example. Thanks tor the enlightening post

      Hi Joyce!
Great to see you here! Yes, there are so many explanations on how to use them, tons of articles about them, but if you just look at them differently, like the library example, it becomes so much easier to use them. Then you can go to the next thing that can be confusing like SEO (search engine optimization) LOL!!! It never ends 🙂

The first time I started working in this industry, I never thought how powerful and important a keyword is. However, later on, after doing a research and based on the experiences, I just realized that keywords are essential SEO elements as they are what search sequences are matched against. Your keyword is the most important thing in your online business.

  3. Hi Leslie,

I am slowly beginning to understand the importance of keywords.

Do you use Wordtracker? I use Google Adwords Tool to help me discover what words and phrases my audience is using to find what I offer. First of all, I start with the words and phrases that I think my audience might be using. I usually put several words and phrases – one word or phrase per line and then select “Get My Keywords”. Google comes back with a long list of words and phrases that maybe I never thought of – but it gives me the words and phrases as well as how many times a month it is being searched for. I will be talking more about this tool on my blog and in future issues.

      Hi Rachel,
Thanks for visiting! No I don’t use Wordtracker, but the video I talk about is from Wordtracker – I thought it was pretty good educationally. I use Google keywords… Look forward to your article!

I have no experience myself of child birth but I really like the banner graphic on your site and the layout in general. 🙂

  5. Great job of explaining keywords for the uninitiated … it can be scary at first, but once you dive in and get the hang of it, it really isn’t that difficult.
