Self-Directed Calm

Anticipating going through childbirth makes you a bit nervous, I know. But I don’t know which is worse – constantly worrying about it or not doing anything to calm your nerves.

The BEST action to take is to relax, calm down both physically and mentally on a daily basis.

You might be thinking “I can’t relax”!

My answer to this statement is, well you just created a “self-induced” emotional stress state just because you “believe” or “think” you can’t relax when in reality you can.  Beware the “I can’t” syndrome – it can be very limiting and unproductive … Instead, think what if you could? What would happen? You just might enjoy being calm!

Create calm in your life. Create calm in your mind by doing DAILY relaxation “sittings” and do them a few times throughout the day. They don’t have to last long. Sit for a few minutes, 5 to 10. With practice and when time allows you may find yourself sitting for 30 minutes and not realize it!

Relaxation is a powerful “tool” to decrease anxiety , stress, and  “pain”!

Stress is 90% self induced. Why do that to yourself. Hm … ?

Print out these simple instructions to relax. Do them daily and experience the difference in your mind, body, and life in general. You can use this anytime for any thing causing you stress. It works for everything ( just omit the part about contractions).
