Focus On What Can Be Great
Let’s pretend for a few moments that you’re not pregnant. What would you be worrying about?
Your job? Finances? Moving to a new place to live? Commuting to work? Gaining weight?
So here’s how the mind works.
What ever you worry about magnifies the MORE you focus on it…
There are things we can control and things we can’t. Most of the time we think about the stuff we can’t control. We also tend to think about the past and future.
You know, the “What ifs”, right?
The “What ifs” are those things that are out of our control and haven’t happened yet. Actually they may never happen because these are thoughts generated in our mind and not based in reality.
You have the power to control your thinking and I’ll be writing a lot about this because it’s THAT important.
Now enter the pregnant woman. Is this you? So now you worry about everything you’ve been worried about PLUS worry about your pregnancy and upcoming birth experience! Whew!
That’s a lot of energy being sucked out of you!
