Leslynotes is dedicated to providing childbirth education to women globally.
Since 1998, Leslynotes has focused on helping expectant moms-to-be and their partners/husbands worldwide to prepare for birth in a non-judgmental, compassionate manner. Women have come from Africa, Brazil, China, Australia, Thailand, Spain, (and growing) as well as the USA.
Leslynotes is also for women who are on bed-rest during their pregnancy or who are unable to attend a class. It’s an an online option to gain knowledge about pregnancy, the labor process, medical interventions, labor pain management , post-partum, and transitioning into parenting.
“Live” classes are offered to provide “hands-on” experience in preparation for birth. Classes are held through webinars, email, and video conference calls. Live classes with support partners are essential in preparing for birth. Reading books about it may be helpful, but do not provide personal, individual guidance from a professional Labor and delivery nurse. Leslynotes also offers a Childbirth Class Scholarship.
Moms-to-be are not getting the information they need to make choices and decisions about birth, nor are they learning what their options are because they are choosing NOT to take childbirth classes.
