Leslynotes.com, created in 1998, is a free resource for expectant couples and individuals

looking for information on natural birth, medicated birth, how to birth naturally using breathing techniques and relaxation methods.

This free online childbirth class was created to provide women and men world wide with infor mation on preparing for labor and birth, and how to have a natural birth. The information offered here encompasses the philosophiesof Lamaze (R) International. Lesly believes birth is a normal and natural process and one that should be honored..

There are three areas that are importast to focus on in having a natural, or unmedicated birth:

Breathing

Relaxation

Coping skills

Medications (epidural, narcotices) are viewed here at Leslynotes.com as a "tool". They should not be used as the first line of labor pain management. Rather, relaxation, guided imagery, visualization, breathing, movement, and birthing mindsets, should be focuesed on first and medications used if neccessary as a last resort.

Discussions on relaxation techniques, journaling as a way to release tension and worries while focusing on the positive aspects of your pregnancy are explored. Other techniques such as hypnosis, meditation and music are encouraged to learn about and use during your pregnancy and labor. Calm Birth. is a CD meditation program that you can learn about here and use during your Labor.

Today, in the 21st Century and in the future, you have many options if managing your labor. It's nothing like it used to be - and that's a very good thing.

This online class is a supplement to your "Live" childbirth education class. If you are unable to take a childbirth class, this site will provide you with information about childbirth preparation, relaxation techniques, and more. Look at the classes to see what is offered and when. There are also teleconferences. Check the schedule and fees are very reasonable.

This is unlike anything you'll experience physically and emotionally. Be POACTIVE and learn well way before the baby comes. Childbirth classes are also the first steps towards parenting too.
