Here's a book I wish I had written myself. It's creative, intelligent, and sensitive. It boldly explores options women have in birthing their babies while discussing the "inner wisdom" that women have during labor and delivery. It also explores artistic expression with expectant couples. VERY INTERESTING TO READ AND SOULFUL.
Another good book. This is one of my favorites. Why? Because it is an eye opener to how childbirth changed from in the home to in the hospitals, and how that change has impacted on women. I make references to it all the time in my classes. A MUST have.
This is a book and video set! Very nicely done and informative. Actual births are shown in a birthing center and at home, to get an idea of the differences compared to hospitals. It's very true..you do not have to give birth in a hospital!
If you haven't found the right picture that will help you focus on your breathing when in labor, this may be the help you need visually!. Very creative book. Lots of images with suggestions on when they would be good to use. A small books contains additional information as well.
